That's waht you want to watch out for, and in fact any GE foods besdies soy. Soy has been GE'd for years since it is in such mass production. Organic foods are the only kinds I eat and I check labels to see ingredients. If a soy product doesn't say organic you can bet it is GE. There are a million foods that are GE now and there is debate to have food companies list GE on the product so that consumers know what they are getting. I just follow the rule of buying organic and reading labels of products I buy. Knowing the " other " terms that companies often use to fool consumers regarding their ingredients is important. Soy is a good food product, GE foods are not (including soy)!
