The issue about soy products is whether or not it is genetically engineered

(GE, GMO). That's waht you want to watch out for, and in fact any GE foods

besdies soy. Soy has been GE'd for years since it is in such mass

production. Organic foods are the only kinds I eat and I check labels to see

ingredients. If a soy product doesn't say organic you can bet it is GE.

There are a million foods that are GE now and there is debate to have food

companies list GE on the product so that consumers know what they are

getting.

I just follow the rule of buying organic and reading labels of products I

buy. Knowing the " other " terms that companies often use to fool consumers

regarding their ingredients is important.

Soy is a good food product, GE foods are not (including soy)!

Here is a website dealing with GE foods and offering a ton of info for those

interested
