I was reading on the veganmania web site about fructose and it seems that she

was saying that it is not refined...therefore vegan due to no bone char...but

it doesnt actually SAY that it is not refined nor uses bone char. Could

anyone illuminate this a bit for me?

thanks!

  • 6 years later...

Aaahhh for all the good things I eat, I treat myself to half can of Coke with

lunch each day. I'm not scared of that amount. I work with a crew that drinks

6 diet sodas a day and they smoke and eat off the lunch truck.

I have very few vices and what I do have I enjoy. Hey enjoy life just remember

the key is moderation.

Hear hear, Donna. You've said this before and I am in awe. Awe that

you _can_ drink half a can and then throw the rest away. I'm an " in for

a penny, in for a pound " sort of person and would drink the whole thing

and then feel bad.

I've given up all that sort of thing, but, boy do I eat tons of figs

every day. Like two baskets. ;-)

Yeah, I guess we (the collective we) pay for convenience.

Before I stopped drinking soda, I would often get the big

two-liter bottle at gas stations versus the 20 oz one, as

they are so close in price (here too the bigger size is

often even less). It is more waste though, if you don't

end up consuming it all. Not so much the contents, but

the packaging.
