Guest guest Posted April 30, 2001 Report Share Posted April 30, 2001 Diana, I am kinds new too...about 2 months into it and I can say that soups are a good starter for a new vegan...bean soup and bean chilis. Also...White WAve makes a great Baked tofu. All the flavors are great, but Thai is the best!! You can use it in replacement of chicken in common dishes. Stir frys are great. Egg plant breaded and baked with some maranara sauce over it makes a nice looking meat replacement to a meal. i havent tried too many meat analogs yet other than the smart dogs for the kids, so I cant help too much there. Burritos are good too. Not too much help from me, i am still learning too!! Good luck and if you come up with anything great...email me!
