Guest guest
Brewer's yeast comes as powder or tablets. You should be able to find it at any health food store. (Whole Foods Market and I think Trader Joe's both carry it) You can also purchase it online at mothernature.com =0) Here is a link to more info on it: http://www.mothernature.com/ency/supp/Brewers_Yeast.asp Monica - LamourDelaVieWhere do you find brewers yeast? Guest guest
Nutritional yeast and Brewer's yeast are similar in flavor. Brewer's yeast may have a "bitter" taste, though, so is usually not the recommended form of food yeast. The Red Star brand of nutritional yeast contains B12. . .and Brewer's yeast may not. Both foods are used to give a cheesy flavor to many of the homemade cheese alternatives (cheesy sauces, block cheeses, dressings, etc. in vegan form). Guest guest
Brewer's yeast will also keep bugs away from you, especially mosquitoes. Alot of vets recommend feeding it to dogs to keep them bug free. It is my understanding that when you ingest enough of it, you emit a slight odor that other people wouldn't notice, but the bugs hate it.
