No more McDonald's french fries???? I'm soooo depressed... =0( Panda Express has great tofu entrees, as well as mixed veggies. However, I just discovered that they use the same oils to cook ALL their food. So, they cook the beef with broccolli, then throw my garlic and eggplant tofu in afterwards! Grrrrrr.... Uh-oh, I hate to be the bearer or bad news, but I work at a Panda Express, and the Basic Sauce that is used to cook everything (except steamed rice, of course) has a chicken base. =/

 

And the spring rolls have a chicken flavoring in them, as well, plus they are cooked in the same deep fryer that fries the orange chicken, sweet and sour pork/chicken, etc.

 

The only thing I eat there (when I don't bring my own lunch), is steamed rice with steamed veggies (just blanched....no sauce or oil......they are normally cooked with the "chicken" basic sauce too). I sometimes put some sweet and sour sauce over them. That is safe, but does contain white sugar, if you are concerned about that.

 

Just thought I'd let you know.
