Guest guest
Hi, Karen! I just got my copy today. Maybe soon enough of us will have it and we can run a theme! For those who haven't seen it yet, the book seems to be a good survey of veg cuisine! I need to look at the index yet to see how broad a survey. Lots from India (of course) but there's turkey, cuba, korea .... to name a few others. The book has 200 recipes (few pictures). I was going to pick a few recipe titles but i keep getting distracted... More later. -pat At 11/05/1999 , Veg-Recipes wrote: >Message: 5 > Thu, 4 Nov 1999 12:42:22 -0500 > " Karen C. Guest guest
The Uncheese Cookbook Joanne Stepaniak vegan Just wanted to let everyone know that in my opinion Joanne Stepaniak has some of the best vegan cookbooks available... Two titles that I really enjoy are Vegan Vittles and Table for Two. I picked up the Uncheese Cookbook about a year ago and made 3 recipes. Now I consider myself to be a pretty good cook, way above the average at least but no gourmet master. But these recipes were terrible. I threw each one away with the greatest of speed. Maybe I chose the three rotten recipes in the book but beware, if the rest of the book is similar to the three I made, you're not going to fool anyone short of someone lacking taste buds that this stuff tastes like cheese.
