Guest guest
Thank you all for the responses about the soy milk machine. I was wondering, if you can give me some actual measurements. Also, how do I do rice, or nut milks? Do I just substitute? I got my machine from.... umm.. Lol... (a little embarrased.. The Home Shopping network. (gulp) It is a great tool though! We have a large family so it really reduces the cost for us. Samantha

Hi Samantha, To make nut or rice milks, just substitute equal amounts of soaked, raw nuts or brown rice. I usually make one batch, clean out the filter, refill, and make another batch, using the milk I made the first time instead of water. It makes a richer blend. Here's the recipe I developed and my family likes: Soy Milk (or rice/nut milks) 6 cups soy milk (double blend as described above) 2 Tbsp. Mystic Lakes fruit sweetener (probably similar to Fruitsource) 2 Tbsp. brown rice syrup 2 Tbsp. honey (may substitute if you don't use honey; try maple syrup) 1/2 tsp. vanilla dash of salt Chill and YUM!
