Guest guest
Have you tried Publix? I've bought sunflower oil there before. There are four of them in Columbia: http://store.publix.com/publix/cgi/selection?place= & state= & map.x=186 & map.y=44 I'm surprised that you're having trouble finding that particular ingredient - it's one of the less obscure items that we veg's use. :-) If you don't have any luck at Publix, send another email to the list and I'll dig a little deeper. (We're in the same state, though different sections). Guest guest
Most health food stores carry sunflower oil. It's a very neutral tasting oil and you can use it as one for one replacer to standard, old vegetable oil. I use that and safflower only. Sure i use olive oil but it doesn't hold up well against heat. I've read that canola oil, made from the rape seed, can not be broken down by your body! Not only that, but I knew a rep that worked for Spectrum and she told me the same thing and she wouldn't even use it. Do some research but leaving canola oil out may be a good thing.
