Guest guest
I have been a lurker in this group for several weeks. My infant son is anaphylactic to eggs and milk, in addition to having an auto- immune disease that prevents him from eating most foods (he can only eat rice, carrots and bananas). Anyway, we are wondering if anyone has a vegan birthday cake recipe that they like. Please share if you do! Thanks, Susan, mom to Ari
Guest guest
Wow! It would be hard to make a birthday cake using only rice, carrots, and bananas. Good luck! If you find later on that he can eat other things such as flour, oil, cocoa, etc., I have several vegan cake recipes. Guest guest
Dear Susan.. You mention " infant " son...I would think breast milk is the best for this little one..and he can breastfeed for a very long time My daughter was not interested in food at all and almost solely breastfed for her first year and breast fed until she was 4..to some that is shocking, but she had no allergies..she is now 21 and a pre med student There are lots of online resources for you. on there is Vegan Mama's. And a web site Vegan.com that would be helpful. And I would look up macrobiotics...they are dairy and egg free also. Finally....their is rice flour and all egg replacers... Good Luck!
