Guest guest
I'm wondering if anyone has heard about the sources of vitamin D3. I have read on the web site NOTMILK.COM that the sources are, Pig Skin, Sheep Skin, Raw Fish Liver, and Pig Brains. I'm asking because I've seen vitamin D3 in the ingredient of some soy milks and also in all the sub cheeses I find at the grocery. I'm kinda wondering if anyone else has heard, read or know about this. Robin

Guest guest
Hi! I don't think, that Vit.D comes from wool fat. As far as I know, is the human body able to produce Vit.D himself, as long as the body becomes enough sunlight. To be sure, this Vitamin is added to many pruducts, for example margarine, soy milk and so on, so that noone must be afraid to not get enough of it. Maybe (!) except breastfeeding women, wo live far in the north. (from: " Vegan Nutrition " by Gill Langley) Greetings from Heike pls. excuse my english... I'm really not used to write anything ;-) > thats true. Guest guest
I'VE HEARD THE ONLY NATURAL SOURCE OF VITAMIN D IS SUNLIGHT. THE KIND THEY HOP UP MILK WITH IS SUPPOSEDLY UNUSABLE BY THE HUMAN BODY. (THIS WAS CONFIRMED TO ME BY AN ESTEEMED PROFESSOR OF PHARMCOLOGY AS WELL.)
