Rikki-Lee, I live at the west end of Los Angeles. And to the group -- This yummy broccoli

 

Robyn - CA * Exported from MasterCook * Broccoli with Orange SauceRecipe By :Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00Categories : Cooking Light 1995 Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method-------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 oranges 8 cups broccoli florets -- (2 heads) 1 tablespoon margarine 2 teaspoons bottled minced fresh garlic 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepperGrate 2 tablespoons rind, and squeeze 1/2 cup of juice from oranges; set aside. Steam broccoli, covered, 10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Melt margarine in a small skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, and sauté 1 minute. Add orange rind, juice, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Pour over broccoli, and toss well.
