went to the local Veg. Society potluck tonight, and had a *bunch* of new

and wonderful dishes!! my favorite was the last to arrive: fried

potatoes and tofu!! she said she steamed the potatoes (possibly red

potatoes with skin on), cubed them and the tofu. tossed that in a bag

with a home-made seasoned breading (a la shake-n-bake), and fried the

mess in a hot skillet. everything got browned and crispy, like

home-fries or hash browns.

 

picked up some other written-down recipes, which i'll share later.

How might I find a Veg. (short for Vegetarian or Vegan?) society in my area?

I would love to get involved in a live group, especially if they have
