Guest guest
I don't usually post anything because the only reason I joined this list was to exchange vegan recipes, not to join debates that seem to be solely about proving who's a better vegan. It seems this group, like the entire population of vegans as a whole, have different reasons for becoming vegan and therefore we have people who are vegans to varying degrees. For some being vegan is a way of life; it determines a good portion of their thoughts and actions. For some it is a little less. Just because someone can't find the time to eat healthy every meal doesn't mean they're any less of a vegan. I thought the definition of vegan was one who abstains from eating animal products and using animal-derrived products. If you choose to completely avoid fast food, good for you. Some people just don't have the time, or some people may have the time but choose to eat fast food anyway. So what. This is reminding me of vegans who condemn vegetarians for not going all the way. They could be doing a lot worse. It also reminds me of being nine years old and arguing with my sisters about who was the bigger New Kids on the Block fan. It seems that as long as we're trying, we're all succeeding. Now let's stop all this nit-picking and start posting some delectable dishes! Peace and Love, Robyn
