Guest guest
I know what you mean regarding the cost sometimes. It can be dificult! Here is a link for a soy milk maker. I have thought of buying one myself and making my own milk. Also, have you thought of getting an ice cream maker? They are pretty inexpensive at aroung $25 around here at Target! A friend of mine makes sherberts! If you used soy milk you could make some things that make soy-delicious a thing of the past (that stuff is SO EXPENSIVE). Think of how healthy you are now! Tht is a savings in lost time at work, doctors bills and just feeling lousy! Try planning your meals for the week...breakfast, lunch and dinner so you arent strapped and get stuck making pasta again (like me). I wouldnt go back. Really...do you even need soy milk? No. Do you really need vegan-rella? No. Foods can be really tasty with no vegan alternatives! I love pizza with tons of sauted veggies on it! SO GOOD!!!! I can understand your frustration. I have been there too. Especially when I try in vain to get my kids to like vegan foods Mostly my 4 year old son, who is so into chicken legs! <My DH is an omni for those who dont know> Anyways, you will get through it! just remember why you turned vegan in the first place For the love of life, Jo-Ann Vegan-Talk!! Guest guest
That seems like a great idea. Of course then we would have to watch more carefully our calcium, b12, and D intakes, since soy milk is usually fortified with quite a bit of each vitamin. But, I am still going to check into the soymilk makers a bit more. I even found one that makes tofu too. Guest guest
http://soyloveusa.com/soylove.html That is the url. They also sell the soybeans at that site too. I saw one at ebay a couple of hours ago for 20 bucks less, but the auction has now ended. Alan - <LamourDelaVie Tuesday, September 04, 2001 3:52 PM Re: vegan-to-veg > Really, is it online??
