Previously posted to SDA-veg-recipes ~Herbed Rice2 tsp. olive oil1 garlic clove, minced1/2 c. uncooked basmati rice1 cup water1/4 tsp. salt2 Tbsp. thinly sliced green onion tops2 tsp. minced fresh basil1 tsp. minced fresh thyme2 Tbsp. dairy free parmesan cheese1/4 c. pine nutsSaute garlic in oil one minute. Add rice, stir well.Add water and salt, bring to a boil. Cover, reduceheat and simmer 20 minutes or until liquid isabsorbed. Stir in green onions, basil, and thyme.
