Guest guest Posted September 16, 2001 Report Share Posted September 16, 2001 Tomato SoupSource: The Best of Silver Hills Cookbook6 cups tomato juice1/4 cup unbleached white flour1/2 cup celery salt1 tsp. onion powder1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)1 Tbsp. maple syrupsalt to tastedash cayenne (optional)In a 4-quart sauce pan, bring 5 cups of tomato juice to a boil. Place remaining 1 cup of tomato juice, flour and seasonings in the blender and blend until smooth. Add blended mixture to biling tomato juice. Stir until clear.
