Guest guest Posted September 16, 2001 Report Share Posted September 16, 2001 Tofu Mayonnaise Source: 100% Vegetarian Combine the following in a small saucepan, cooking until onions are very well done and using only enough water to prevent burning: 1 cup chopped onion 1/3 - 1/2 cup water Then pour above into blender and whiz with the following until very smooth: 1 cup tofu 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic powder Chill and serve. Keep refrigerated and use within a FEW days. Smell it before you use leftovers. This recipe is very oniony, but delicious in a sandwich. Try tofu mayonnasie on haystacks or mazidra.
