I have recipe that I have used numerous times , and it is sooo good,

Preheat oven to 300 degrees,

remove papery outer skin from garlic, slick off top so each clove is exposed.

Trim base so garlic can sit flat. Pour 1 tablespoon olive oil over top and top

with pieces of vegan butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper and oregano (

oregano is optional ) cover with foil and bake 50 minutes. Reduce to 275

degrees and bake another hour until garlic is tender and husks are golden

brown. Baste occasionally with olive oil ,

Microwave directions

Cook at full power for 3-4 minutes allow to cool, for more tender consistency cook for a few more

seconds.

Enjoy and be prepared to have a house

smelling like Garlic….

roasted garlic

does anyone have a tried-n-true method for doing roasted garlic, the

kind

where you drizzle it w/oil and bake it, then use

it as a spread for

bread? i've had it once, but there seems to

be no official recipe for

this, and i never thought i'd crave garlic ...
