Guest guest Posted October 31, 2001 Report Share Posted October 31, 2001 Fruit Bar Crust Source: What's Cooking in the Benton Sister's Kitchen, Vol. 1 3 cups quick oats 1 cup unsweetened coconut 1 cup millet (finely ground) 1 cup walnuts, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1 banana 1 cup orange juice Whiz millet in blender and pour into bowl. Blend juice, salt, and banana in blender. Add juice mixture, oats, coconut, and walnuts to millet. Mix all together. Press half of mix firmly into a 9 x 12 inch glass baking dish. Fill with your favorite filling. Top with remaining mixture and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. *For a raw version of this recipe, do not bake. Use a dehydrator or air to "dry".
