Off and on topic. Homemade vegan or commercial candy recipes wanted and Peta

My wife d to this list and I occassionally go through it for

recipes. I did so today to enquire as to whether anyone knows where I can

find vegan candy but I was disturbed to read some of the anti-Peta remarks.

Many of us who are vegan are so because of animal rights. Please keep your

nasty anti-Peta remarks to yourself. This organization, even if it has some

flaws, does a lot of good. We don't need your negativity. Swap recipes if

you will but keep your attitude off line. Thanks!

PETA is an unorganized, unmethodical non-profit. Without getting into the

details, they are a crappy organization and while their underlying theme may

be provide a positive message, the overall picture is one of hypocrisy and a

real inability to see multiple sides of an issue... As for being immature,

I can defend any statement I've ever made and if you care to go into detail

email me off this list, I'm done with this issue here. It's not that proper

forum for it.

This was not very nice. They language used was not nice. I thought this

was a
