At the bottom: 6-11 servings of vegetables and fruit. Next layer up: 5-8 servings of whole grains, cereal, rice & pasta. The layer above that: 4-6 servings of legume, nut, seed & soy products. (conversely this can be a mix: 2-3 of dairy, 2-3 of legume, nut, seed & soy.) At the top (the smallest portion): vegetable fats & oils, sweets & salt .. eat sparingly. Om Shanti ...
