Guest guest Posted March 1, 2002 Report Share Posted March 1, 2002 Gluten Steaks Source: Natural Lifestyle and Your Health 4 cups instant gluten flour (100%) --- also called vital wheat flour or Do-Pep 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup unbleached white flour 1/2 cup minute tapioca 4 Tbsp. nturitional yeast 3 Tbsp. Chicken-Style seasoning 3 Tbsp. garlic powder 3 Tbsp. soy sauce powder (or liquid) 3/4 cup cold water or part broth (recipe to follow) Mix first 7 ingredients well and add all at once to the liquid ingredients. Mix fast and knead. Shape into 2-inch rolls and wrap in plastic. Freeze. When ready to cook, partly thaw, slice thin and boil in broth.
