Oatmeal Waffles

Oatmeal Waffles

Source: Fun with Natural Foods

 

2 cups rolled oats

3 cups soy milk or alternative

1/3 cup oil

1/2 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. salt

 

Combine ingredients. Let stand for 20 minutes before baking in hot waffle iron.

 

Bake 8 minutes. Do not open waffle iron until time is completed.

To the one who sent the previous oatmeal waffle recipe, equal parts oats and water, I tried it just because I couldn't believe it would work. Well, learn something new everyday! I really thank you for the idea. My next project is to try the flavored instant packets. Seems they might make a very good snack.

I tried those waffles too, and they were really good and easy to make. My sister loves them so much she' s been making them every day for a week. :o)
