Guest guest
FOOD ADDITIVE LINKED TO BAD BEHAVIOR An Australian mother says the bread mold inhibitor, calcium propionate, can set off mood swings, squabbles and insomnia in children, reports the Website news.com.au. Sue Dengate first noticed the effects the mold inhibitor had on her daughter Rebecca 12 years ago, but discovered government officials did not wantto listen to mothers, only scientists. "So I thought, well, then I'd better become a scientist," she says. Since then Dengate has become a food intolerance counselor and she has conducted a study into calcium propionate -- also known as preservative 282 --and behavioral problems in children. In a study published in the Journal of Pediatrics and Child Health, more than half of the children exposed to the preservative recorded behavioral changesfor the worse. Guest guest
yes and I bake the bread for my family, all six of my kids. I use whole wheat flour, a bit of gluten maybe, yeast and water. That is IT. I live at 5865 feet above sea level and this should make a nasty, nasty loaf, but it doesn't. My bread is super. I bake in juice cans, not loaves, btw. If you have never made bread, TRY IT, you will love it and it has no additives. The Lady Dragonfly www.theladydragonfly.com
