Strain. Repeat until all of the water is used. Rinse blender to clean out cashews chunks left over. Return milk to blender and blend in sweetener and vanilla. Refrigerate. You may need to stir before using. http://www.Christian-Vegan-Cooking http://www. http://www.VintageVeganTea http://www.VeganMenus4HealthyLiving http://www.AllNaturalSweetnerRecipes ---------- ----
Guest guest
A few dates can also be added for a hint of sweetness. A piece of vanilla bean can be nice too. Guest guest
Soaking the cashews prior to use - reduces the acidity. If you have been eating a (SAD standard american diet) for very long it is good to reduce acid. Plus when you buy the " raw cashews " and soak them - thier enzymes now become " live " and your body is better able to utilize them. > A few dates can also be added for a hint of sweetness. Guest guest
I hope everyone is aware that the vast majority of " raw " cashews are not really raw. They have been steamed out of their shell. In his latest book Gabriel Cousens puts cashews on his list of foods to avoid because of they feed pathogenic organisms in the blood. Why not try making " milk " out of sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, almonds, coconuts and other truly living foods instead? chef_sprout2001 --- RawSeattle wrote: >
