Guest guest Posted October 25, 2002 Report Share Posted October 25, 2002 Delicious Vegan Pizza 4 cups unbleached white flour 2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 cup warm water 1 1/2 Tbsp. yeast 1/4 cup olive oil optional: basil, oregano, garlic Vegetables of choice Dissolve yeast in warm water. Then combine with other ingredients. Roll dough out onto floured board and knead until smooth. Place dough into oiled bowl and cover. Allow to rise for two hours. Turn out again and knead until smooth again. Roll out to fit oiled pizza pan. Lightly brush top of crust with olive oil. Top with your favorite pizza sauce and vegetables. Bake at 500 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. Vegetable suggestions: olives, zucchini, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach leaves, red and green peppers. Before adding the vegetables to pizza for topping they can be sauteed in olive oil with oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and basil.
