Guest guest
Liquid Smoke is a flavoring made of herbs and spices. It is usually available in the spice section of most supermarkets. A similiar brand item is Kitchen Boquet. I made this recipe recently and did not have either item in the kitchen. I made the following adaptations and the recipe turned out fine: omit: liquid smoke add: 1 additional Tbsp. of Bragg's Amino Acids add: 2 Tbsp. Bill's Best Chick'nish add: 2 Tbsp. Bill's Best Beef seasoning add: 2 Tbsp. McKay's Chicken-Style Seasoning (their vegan version) I did not have sun-dried tomatoes, so left them out. I used quinoa flakes instead of oats. Hmmmmmmmm, sounds like I basically reinvented the recipe, huh! The family decided that these patties would be delicious with walnuts instead of sunflower seeds also. Hope this helps. . .
