Guest guest Posted October 27, 2002 Report Share Posted October 27, 2002 Gluten Steaks 3 cups gluten flour (vital wheat) 1/4 cup minute tapioca 1 cup whole wheat flour 2 Tbsp. Bill's Best Chick'nish seasoning (vegan) 3 Tbsp. yeast flakes Add: 3 1/4 cups boiling water and 1/4 cup Bragg's Liquid Aminos In bowl, lightly knead, then take out a third at a time and roll into a log on a slightly damp counter. Cut at about 1 inch intervals. Pat flat and add to broth mixture. Broth: 12 cup water 4 Tbsp. yeast flakes 1/4 cup Bragg's Amino Acids 1 - 2 bay leaves 1 large can tomato juice 1 Tbsp. oil 3 Tbsp. Bill's Best Chicknish Seasoning (vegan) 1 - 2 tsp. onion powder sprinkle of basil Simmer gluten pieces for 1 hour in broth. Breading: 3 cups flour 3 Tbsp. Better Than Milk - lite - soy milk powder (not vanilla flavor/use plain) 1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes 1/8 tsp. sage 1 Tbsp. Bill's Best Chick'nish Seasoning. Bread steaks and lightly fry in oil. Pat on paper towles to remove excess oil.
