Guest guest Posted October 30, 2002 Report Share Posted October 30, 2002 Oat Crackers Source: Vibrant Life/Nov/Dec/02 3 cups quick oats 2 cups flour 1 cup wheat germ 1 tsp. salt 1 cup oil 1 cup water Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add oil; mix well. Add water; mix well. Spread onto cookie sheets with a rolling pin to 1/8-inch thickness. Sprinkle with salt if desired. Score into squares with a pizza cutter. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes, then at 270 degrees F. for 10 minutes more or until slighlty brown and crisp. Yield: About 8 dozen crackers.
