Guest guest
I'm trying to convert a traditional recipe in my family (bonet, Italian Flan) into a vegan dessert. I'm having trouble finding a good flan recipe that's vegan so I can make the necessary adjustments so it's the traditional Italian dessert. Anyone have one? Mix chocolate powder with a little warm soy milk to get a smooth liquid. Pour and stir the arrow root (or other) in the soy milk. stir until hot. Heat water in a deep dowl in the micro wave until it boils. Stir in the Agar Agar powder. Heat again in the micro wave for on minute (be careful that the mixturedoesn't go over the stem) Pour the Agar Agar mixtrure and the chocolate mixture in the soy milk mixture. stir over medium heat for 1 minute or two. Pour into serving bowls (it usually make 4). Let it cool and then put in the fridge for 4 hours.
