Guest guest Posted March 25, 2003 Report Share Posted March 25, 2003 Gluten Nuggets Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook 3 1/2 cups gluten flour 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1 Tbsp. minute tapioca 1 Tbsp. onion powder 1 Tbsp. garlic powder 3 Tbsp. Vege/Yeast* 3 cups water 2 Tbsp. Braggs Amino Acids Mix all dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients and add to dry. Mix well. Tear into small pieces and place in a well prepared roaster or large casserole dish. Sprinkle the following over the gluten chunks: 2 large onions, chopped 3 large cloved garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. ground celery seed 1/4 tsp. ssage 2 whole bay leaves (do not break up) Then pour the following sauce over all. 2 1/2 cups boiling water 1/4 cup oil 2 tsp. Bakon Yeast 2 Tbsp. Braggs Liquid Aminos Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 15 - 20 minutes. Remove lid for the last 10 minutes if crispy gluten is desired. Serve as a main dish with potatoes and a crisp salad *Recipe posted previously/check archives.
