Full Animal Free Cooked Breakfast now available.

Source: www.worldveganday.orgHaving cracked 1st Bacon (award winning Cheatin Rashers), then Sausages (Rolls Royce of veggie Sausages - Virgin Radio) then dairy free cheese (cheezly) the UK's foremost pioneer of vegan food - Redwoods, has now whipped up a fried egg alternative - "Sunny Side Up" TM - Find out more now "It is something we have been investigating for many years. We don't see why people leading a lifestyle that's kinder to people, animals and the environment should miss out." Said Jeremy King (38) one of Redwood's directors committed to new product development. "After my wife whisked me off to Jamaica for a well earned break, an idea finally hatched and we knew we had it cracked. We spoke to The Vegan Society and they assured us it was worth the investment" The Product will be available in the near future in a Sunny Side Up TM double yolk packaging. It is made from a cunning blend of a special type of Tofu, agar agar, a new algae and the Jamaican fruit Ackees. The product is not as versatile as eggs, it can't be used in baking for instance, but many egg replacers already exist on the market for making cakes. It can however be beaten up and used to make a cracking omelette or vegan scrambled "eggs" on toast. Providing it is cooked carefully the new Vegan fried egg will even retain that soft bit in the middle to dip in your marmite soldiers. Even more ground breaking is millions of pounds worth of investment into new production procedures that have enabled low temperatures in manufacturing to maintain the integrity of levels of Omega 3 in the product. The "Sunny Side Up" TM is the latest in a long line of products from a company that bought us Cheatin Chicken, Celebration Roast and vegan versions of Mortadella, Feta Cheese, Smoked Salmon Pate, Tuna, Fishless Fingers, Scampi, Pepperoni, Garlic Sausage, Ready Cooked sausages...the list goes on. "This will be a turning point for veganism" Says Jenny King (39) Redwood's Director of European Sales " People all around the world are becoming more and more vegan and the easier we make it the more they do it! The question is now not "Why Vegan?" but "Why not Vegan?"
