Guest guest Posted April 2, 2003 Report Share Posted April 2, 2003 Millet Cereal1 cup hulled millet3 cups water1/2 tsp. liquid sweetener of choice1/2 cup rice or soy milkRinse millet in warm water and drain. Place in a pan of water mixedwith soy or rice milk and heat mixture to boiling point. Thensimmer for ten minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent stickingand burning. Remove from heat and let stand for a half hour ormore. Serve with milk alternative, oil (flax), or vegan margarine. "The spirit of hospitality can thrive in the humblest circumstances.
