Carob-Peanut Butter Bars

Source: Foster's Favorites

 

2/3 cup date butter

4 Tbsp. carob powder

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 tsp. vanilla

1/4 cup raw cashews, cleaned

1 Tbsp. soy milk powder

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 Tbsp. unsweetened coconut

1 Tbsp. pineapple juice concentrate

 

Combine first five ingredients in blender. Blend until very smooth. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Spread half of carob sauce in a small bread pan or tray and freeze. Spread peanut butter mixture over the carob in the pan. Spread remaining carob evenly over the peanut butter layer. Freeze and cut in squares.
