Guest guest Posted April 3, 2003 Report Share Posted April 3, 2003 Carob-Granola Bites Source: Foster's Favorites 2 1/2 cups granola 2 Tbsp. soy milk powder 2 - 3 Tbsp. carob powder 1 cup unsweetened coconut 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional 2 Tbsp. pineapple juice concentrate 1/4 cup apple juice 3/4 cup chopped moistened dates 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice Mix first five ingredients in bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Press into 9" x 9" pan. Note: You may want to spread with Carob Fudge Frosting and sprinkle with unsweetened coconut. It is also good sprinkled with chopped nuts or chopped dried fruit. "The spirit of hospitality can thrive in the humblest circumstances.
