I have been a vegetarian for 20 years, and recently went vegan due to lactose intolerance. I really miss my M & M's and Almond Joy when I have PMS. I tried drinking Silk chocolate Soy Milk, but it didn't fill the craving. Yes there is and I'm eating it right now, LOL! They're chocolate "earth balls", wrapped in earth paper and you can buy them from your local health food store, or you can buy them online at www.pangea.com - look under their candy section and then chocolates and there you'll find them. I'm pretty sure I'm giving you the right link. They have other vegan chocolates there as well. I think it might take you straight over to www.veganessentials.com and that's where you actually buy it. Guest guest
message 15 - I don't miss restaurants, although I know some who would. Pay all that money for indigestion (when I was cooked!) I worked my way through several raw cookbooks in a week, and found things I could easily make, and my kids would like. We have several spiffy Tupperwares that I pack meals in when we are out and about. I heard there's about 4 raw restaurants in NY, anybody know? Also, we order double salads sometimes. good luck, Kathy
Guest guest
Kathy, This past week I went to Quintessence Restaurant in NYC. They have 3 different locations throughout the city, but I went to the one on Amsterdam. Here's their website with the other addresses: http://www.raw-q.com/ Does anyone know of stores or restaurants north of the city? Thanks, Ariana
