Guest guest
Pie Crust Source: Foster's Favorites 1/2 cup raw nuts, ground fine (cashew or walnut) 1 1/4 cups flour (choose from whole wheat pastry flour; millet flour; rice flour; or other blend of choice) 1/2 tsp. salt, scant 1/2 cup water, or less Cut together all ingredients except water with pastry cutter. Add water and mix just enough to press firmly into a ball. Roll out on lightly floured board or lightly floured waxed paper. When the dough is rolled out, just lay it in the pie dish, waxed paper side up, and gently peel away the waxed paper. This method works well because this type of crust is not as elastic as the ordinary ones. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 12 minutes. "The spirit of hospitality can thrive in the humblest circumstances. It's a matter of opening our lives to others. . .giving them the best we have to offer, but never allowing elaborate preparations to substitute for the sharing of the spirit of true hospitality." ~Emelie Barnes http://www.Christian-Vegan-Cookinghttp://www.AllNaturalSweetenerRecipeshttp://www.VeganMenusforHealthyLivinghttp://www.
