Guest guest Posted April 10, 2003 Report Share Posted April 10, 2003 Lentil Soup Source: The Foster's Favorites 2 cups lentils 6 cups water 1 tsp. salt 2 cups spaghetti sauce 2 Tbsp. fresh basil 1 cup chopped onions 3/4 cup diced carrots 3/4 cup diced celery 1 Tbsp. Bragg's Liquid Aminos Combine the lentils, water and salt and cook until lentils are soft. Steam the onions, carrots and celery in a small amount of water with the Bragg's Liquid Aminos. Combine with lentil mixture and remaining ingredients. Mix. Servt hot. NOTE: You may want to add more water to this if you like your soup a little thinner.
