Guest guest Posted April 10, 2003 Report Share Posted April 10, 2003 Vegetable Soup Source: The Foster's Favorites 2 medium onions, chopped 5 cup liced summer squash 1 cup thinly sliced carrot 2 tsp. salt 1 - 2 cup cubed tofu or brown rice 1 clove garlic, chopped fine 5 cups water 2 Tbsp. chicken style seasoning 2 Tbsp. fresh oregano 1 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. thyme Combine the onions, summer squash, carrot, salt, tofu and garlic and simmer in small amount of the water until vegetables are tender. Add remaining ingredients and serve hot. NOTE: Other vegetables may also be used such as broccoli, asparagus, green beans or celery.
