Guest guest
I think I got this from this list. If not, maybe someone will have some insight. The recipe was for a cup of brown rice, a cup of apple juice and a cup of water, plus raisins and cinnamon. (I may have halved that, too.) I have tried preparing this at the same time and temperature as I do for plain rice, but it is coming out "to the tooth", as they say about pasta. Will extending the cooking time help and maybe by how long? It is a very good breakfast; I just am not sure I like the texture. Thanks! Guest guest
Eric, I would extend the cooking time AND increase the liquid a bit. That should make the rice more tender. Sounds very good. I think I'll try it myself! Shelly --- Eric <sseric57 wrote: > I think I got this from this list.
