Guest guest Posted April 29, 2003 Report Share Posted April 29, 2003 Mushroom-Walnut Spread Source: International Cookbook/Debby Shabo Wade ***Tried and true. . .delicious!*** Serves: 24 2 Tbsp. olive oil 1/2 pound mushrooms, cleaned and sliced 1 small onion, quartered 1 cup chopped walnuts 2 cloves garlic Salt to taste In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, saute' mushrooms in olive oil until tender. In a food processor or blender, process onion, nuts, garlic, and sauteed mushrooms until smooth. Season to taste. Serving suggestion: Serve on crackers or garlic toasts as canapes. Garnish with parsley and colorful veggies.
