Banana Bread

 

Preheat the oven to 180ºC/ 350ºF.Cream the margarine and sugar together, then stir in the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into oiled 8½-inch by 4½-inch bread tin and bake for 50 minutes.

 

You will need:

 

50g/2oz vegetable margarine

110g/4oz sugar

225g/self-raising flour

1½ teaspoon baking powder

2 ripe bananas, mashed

125ml/4fl.oz soya milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

60g/2½ oz chopped walnuts
