Guest guest Posted June 12, 2003 Report Share Posted June 12, 2003 Ard el-shawkeh (Steamed Artichokes with Garlic Dressing) 4 whole artichokes, washed and steamed or boiled until tender For the dressing: 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 1/3 cup olive oil 2 garlic cloves salt and pepper to taste Once the artichokes are cooked to taste, remove them from the pan and tip over to drain and cool, then put them on a serving plate. Prepare the sauce and serve in a separate bowl or in four individual bowls.
