Guest guest Posted July 4, 2003 Report Share Posted July 4, 2003 Here's Chef Deb's mix -- * Exported from MasterCook * Cheeze Sauce Mix Recipe By :Deborah (Recipes.vegsource.org) Serving Size : 10 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Analog Cheese Analog Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups nutritional yeast flakes 2 cups powdered quick oatmeal (grind in grinder or blender) 1 cup soy milk powder 1/4 cup paprika 1/4 cup powdered lecithin (grind granules in food mill or processor) 1 tablespoon natural sugar 2 tablespoons onion granules 1 tablespoon garlic granules or powder 1 teaspoon powdered mustard 1/8 teaspoon turmeric 1 teaspoon salt Mix all thoroughly. Store in airtight container. To use: Mix equal parts mixture and water. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. If too thick, thin with hot water. If too thin, add more mix.
