Ever think it was all that FAT you were eating doc??

Probably lost his balance due to the weight?

Is that really a surprise considering his " diet " ??

> At 258 pounds, the 6-foot-tall Atkins would have qualified as obese,

Sounds to me like he would have qualified as fat.

Such as CJD????

> Stuart Trager, chairman of the Atkins Physicians Council in New

> cardiomyopathy, a condition thought to result from a viral infection.

Hard to believe considering that the AVERAGE male has a minimum of 8 pounds

of undigested red meat in the intestines. Someone who's advocating eating

almost nothing BUT meat must have had WAY more that that.

> The medical examiner's report was given to the Journal by the

> Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, a group that

Of course it was....we wouldn't want to harm to meat industry, now would we

;-)

> There was no immediate response Tuesday to a call seeking additional

Too busy eating that flesh burger I suppose.

> The diet guru's widow, Veronica Atkins, was outraged that the report

> had been made public.

>

> " I have been assured by my husband's physicians that my husband's

>

And of course physicians are never wrong, like the time when they used to

think smoking would cure TB. ????

> Last month, Veronica Atkins demanded an apology from Mayor Michael

> Bloomberg after Bloomberg called her late husband " fat. "

>

Good for you Michael.

> In April 2002, Atkins issued a statement saying he was recovering

> from cardiac arrest related to a heart infection he had suffered

> from " for a few years. " He said it was " in no way related to diet. "

>

And now just how the hell would he know that for sure? As if we all expected

him to suddenly say..... " No, wait, stop I was wrong, don't buy my book " Oy

vey.
