Guest guest
I use a box of silken, extra firm, with the water from the box. I add in a heaping tablespoon of arrowroot powder, a 1/2 teaspoon each of powdered onion and powdered garlic (not salt, powder), 2 tsp of shoyu and about 1/8 tsp of good curry powder. I use my Braun immersion mixer to blend this. I use my Revereware egg poaching cups and poach this goop till it sets up and it WILL set up. I may my own English muffins, whole wheat. But you use a half a muffin, some vegan Canadian bacon slices and a poached tofu " egg " . ohhh and the sauce! Hollandaise is butter and lemon juice with egg yolks. I make a sauce of Earth Balance, a bit of lemon juice and arrowroot powder, whisked together over medium high heat and spoon over the above.
