What does ec'd stand for? & how could a baby be toilet-trained

by 5 months? That would be wonderful!

EC is an Acronym for Elimination Communication.

BAsically it's paying attention to the signals your

baby gives that mean he/she is about to pee or poop

and about how long they usually go between pees and

providing them with a place besides a diaper to do it.

they catch on pretty quick, in DS's case about two

days, and do their best to go in the potty instead of

in the diaper. It isn't for everybody but if it is,

it's awsome. for us it's been wonderful because DS

HATED everything about diapers. It's prevented alot of

tears and stress for both of us. I absolutly must go

because I'm supposed to be cooking dinner not checking

my e-mail but if your curiosity has been piqued you

can either ask me more questionsm, I'd be more than

happy to go into more detail, or you can check out

this website. It's by a very cool friend of mine. She

is much better with words than i often am and the

sites definatly worth checking out.
