Guest guest Posted October 27, 2003 Report Share Posted October 27, 2003 Pineapple Gluten Source: www.wgts.org Ingredients 2 T. soy sauce 2 T. cornstarch 1/3 C. lemon juice or vinegar 6 T. pineapple juice 1 medium can pineapple chunks ginger to taste 2 - 2 1/2 lbs. gluten (homemade or commercial) Mix the soy sauce with 1 T. cornstarch. Dip sliced gluten in this mixture and deep fry, drain. Cook lemon juice, pineapple juice, soy sauce, and remaining cornstarch until thickened. Add finely chopped ginger. Garlic may also be added. Add pineapple chunks and pour over gluten just before serving.
