Guest guest Posted October 27, 2003 Report Share Posted October 27, 2003 Gluten with Broccoli Source: www.wgts.org 1 C. gluten (homemade or commercial), sliced 1 t. ginger juice 2 T. soy sauce 2 C. broccoli, sliced 2 T. cooking oil 1 C. water 1 medium onion, sliced 1/2 t. salt 1 t. sugar 1 T. cornstarch 2 C. vegan soup stock noodles toasted sesame seeds Marinate gluten in ginger juice and soy sauce. Let stand for 30 minutes. Meanwhile saute broccoli slightly in 1 T. of oil, add water and simmer for 2 minutes, or until broccoli is tender. Remove from pan. Reheat pan and add remaining oil, saute gluten and onion until browned. Add broccoli and combine remaining ingredients except noodles and sesame seeds. Cook until sauce thickens.
