Guest guest Posted October 27, 2003 Report Share Posted October 27, 2003 Lentil Patties Source: www.wgts.org 1/2 C. lentils 1 chopped onion 2 C. soft whole wheat 3-4 T. bakon yeast bread crumbs 1 t. salt Soak lentils 3 hours, or overnight. Drain and spread on a plate to dry. Put through food chopper and cook with water to cover in a double boiler approximately 1 hour, adding as much additional water as lentils will absorb. When cooked, stir in bread crumbs, onion, bakon yeast and salt. Shape into patties and roll in flour.
